The Opportunity:

We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Roma. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates to gain hands-on experience. As an apprentice, you will learn to maintain and repair heavy diesel machinery, contributing to the efficiency and safety of our operations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the maintenance and repair of heavy diesel equipment under the supervision of qualified mechanics.
• Learn to diagnose mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Participate in routine inspections and servicing of machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with company policies.
• Document all work performed and report any issues to senior mechanics.
• Commit to an apprenticeship and attend all TAFE/RTO training blocks.

Qualifications:

• Completion of Year 10 or equivalent education.
• Genuine interest in mechanics and heavy vehicles.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills in a practical environment.
• Strong commitment to safety.
