Injection Moulding Shift Supervisor – Night Shift

Whites Group is an energetic and progressive Australian Family-owned business that is geared for growth. We are a key supplier to both the Retail Home Improvement and Rural Hardware markets.

The Role

We currently have an opportunity for an Injection Moulding Shift Supervisor to join our team based at Dandenong South. This is a Greenfields site with five brand new injection moulding machines and great new technology to manufacture recycled plastics products that sell in the Hardware and Export markets.

This is a night shift role, and the working hours are 9.54pm – 6.00am Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading a small group of factory hands
• Attending to robot issues
• Troubleshooting moulding problems
• Optimising and maintaining machine cycle times – material and master batch
• Setting up machines and examining quality and performance
• Achieving production targets and overall manufacturing efficiency
• Ensuring safety is maintained at the highest level and adhering to all safety requirements

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience with injection moulding and tools
• An LF Forklift licence (preferred)
• Proficient in the use of robot technology
• Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently as well as providing instruction to the team
