Your role:
Our centres are purpose built to provide a clean and inclusive environment to encourage the children’s innate love of learning and a positive social development.
You will support the centre and encourage learning by:
– Developing, planning and implementing a quality program that reflects the Early Years Learning Framework for our nursery room
– Monitoring and documenting children’s progress & individual children’s portfolios
– Mentoring and guiding less experienced staff within the Centre
– Strong communication channels with staff, children and families of the Centre
– Contributing to the effective operation of the workplace by supporting colleagues, sharing ideas and information and working collaboratively in our team.
– Complying with the Centres’ policies and procedures along with licensing, legislation & regulations.
What you need:
– Diploma qualification of Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA approved equivalent
– Current First Aid Certificate, including Asthma and Anaphylaxis
– Current WWCC
– Previous experience and knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and National Regulations
– A willingness to further your professional knowledge
– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
– Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Room Leader in Toddlers room
– Able to work full rotation 6.30am-6.30pm
– A deep interest in the wellbeing of young babies and their families and have a nurturing and calm personality
