Support Worker

Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to provide assistance and support to a female participant located in Bray Park.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Also have availability on both weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Help individuals with meal preparation and feeding
• Assist with medication as directed by healthcare professionals
• Accompany individuals to appointments
• Maintain accurate records of services provided
• Communicate effectively with individuals, management and healthcare professionals
• Monitor and report any changes in an individual’s condition
• Provide a safe and comfortable environment for individuals

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness and professionalism
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with insurance
• NDIS worker Clearance (Yellow Card)
• Working with Children card (Blue Card)
• Cert III in individual support or willing to obtain
