Workshop Supervisor – West-Trans Service(VIC)

Summary:

West-Trans Service is seeking a hands-on Workshop Supervisor to lead operations at our VIC Workshop in Sunshine, Victoria. This role is crucial for overseeing the service, repairs, and installations of heavy vehicle equipment, ensuring high-quality output and customer satisfaction while maintaining safety compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day workshop operations and installations of heavy vehicle equipment.
• Lead and support a team of technicians in delivering exceptional service.
• Liaise with the Branch Manager and Operations Manager to report on workshop performance.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and quality control measures.
• Drive customer satisfaction through effective communication and service delivery.
• Collaborate with national sales, service, and technical teams to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years’ experience in heavy equipment or truck body servicing.
• Strong mechanical understanding of truck-mounted systems such as HMF cranes, West-Trans skip loaders, hook lifts, and Hammar side loaders.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team effectively.
• Strong communication skills for liaising with customers and internal teams.
• Sound knowledge of workplace health & safety (WH&S) regulations.
