Casual Chef – North Sydney & The Rocks
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Casual Chef to support our kitchen teams across Billy Barry’s Hotel and The Glenmore Hotel, both part of the Welcome Hospitality group.
This role is ideal for a chef who enjoys working in fast-paced pub kitchens and is confident preparing quality bistro-style meals during busy service periods. You will work closely with the Head Chefs and kitchen teams to maintain high food standards while supporting day-to-day kitchen operations across both venues.
Flexibility, reliability, and the ability to step into a busy service with confidence are essential.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Be able to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Have a passion for quality food, produce, and service excellence
- Be reliable, punctual, and hard-working
- Possess strong communication skills
- Adhere to kitchen procedures and WHS standards
- Have sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Be available to work a mix of nights and weekends
- Have Australian working rights
