🔧 What You’ll Be Doing
As a Production Support – Gearboxes team member, you’ll play a hands‑on role within our Brisbane Gearbox assembly program. Your work will support both warehousing and workshop functions, ensuring the efficient delivery of high‑quality gearboxes and geared motor solutions for customers across Australia.
Your key responsibilities include:
🧰 Warehousing, Inventory & Stock Control
- Manage goods‑inwards, unpack stock shipments and store inventory appropriately.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of inbound deliveries and paperwork.
- Log all stock movements in SAP, including inbound, production, outbound and warranty transactions.
- Label and store components correctly with attention to preservation and corrosion control – especially for steel parts, gears and pinions.
- Report stock shortages, damage or discrepancies promptly.
🏭 Production & Assembly Support
- Pick and deliver gearbox components to the assembly area with care to prevent damage.
- Assist with assembling and testing the WG20 gearbox and gearmotor range as skills develop.
- Support gearbox fault‑finding activities and develop diagnostic skillsets.
- Provide assembly backup to the Production Supervisor during peak demand or leave coverage.
- Assist with industrial painting processes for gearboxes and gearmotors.
📦 Packaging, Dispatch & Documentation
- Prepare completed gearboxes/geared motors for dispatch with high attention to detail.
- Organise transport or collection in line with production instructions and customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate production paperwork, including serial numbers and reference coding.
🛠️ Tools, Safety & Housekeeping
- Safely operate company equipment including forklifts, hydraulic presses and power tools.
- Maintain clean, organised work areas at all times.
- Ensure compliance with ISO procedures, OH&S standards and company policies.

✔️ What You’ll Bring
- Relevant tertiary qualification OR 2+ years experience in a similar role.
- Current forklift licence with demonstrated safe operation.
- Experience assembling gearing or industrial mechanical products.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven problem‑solving ability.
- Customer‑focused mindset and ability to support internal and external stakeholders.
- Comfortable presenting information or participating in training sessions.

- Experience with industrial power transmission equipment.
- Warehousing/stores experience.
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
- Industrial painting experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude or fitting skills.
