How Can You Be Successful In This Role?

Provide excellent customer service. When a customer has a question or a need, you resolve it quickly and professionally. Most of our customers have been with us for many years. We build relationships with clients by delivering value in every interaction.

Bring in new clients. We have structured processes & customer sourcing technology to help our team bring on new clients who we can help lower energy costs and provide expert advice to. We aim to provide so much value to current clients, that much of our new business is referred from existing clients.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be the primary contact for a portfolio of Watt Utilities clients and a key driver of business growth:

Proactive Account Management: You will consistently deliver “proactive account management” and seek to develop deep business relationships with all Clients.

Customer Acquisition: You will use our structured processes and systems to bring on new clients who we can help lower energy costs and provide expert advice to.

Tender Process: You will run energy tenders to get the best energy rates for your clients. You will check and send pricing Proposals to help your Client understand the rates & savings we have arranged for them.

Communication & Sharing Insights: All Watt Utilities Clients are informed and in control because we share usage Reports that help to optimise cost, use and CO2 emissions. We also share our proprietary Monthly Market Insights Report, so our Clients remain aware of the best time to negotiate their next energy contract.

Issue Resolution: Helping to resolve and query or problem quickly and professionally is at the heart of what we do. You will coordinate query and problem resolution.

Cross-Sell & Networking: Identifying cross-sell opportunities, organising regular, face-to-face client meetings, and attending mandated industry events.
What We Need From You:
We are looking for a candidate with proven experience and a positive, team-focused approach.

Experience: 2+ years experience in an Account Management role, with a proven history of managing a portfolio of clients.

Industry Knowledge: Experience within the energy, telco, strata / body corporate industries would be highly advantageous.

Communication & Service: Strong and professional written and verbal communication skills to interact with clients. A high customer service focus and strong relationship-building skills.

Organisational Acumen: High organisational, time management, attention to detail and multi-tasking skills to meet deadlines and perform under pressure. Excellent administrative skill with highly accurate data entry.
