At Wandi Nerida, our purpose is to provide a supportive therapeutic space to change the experience of those affected by eating disorders. We are situated on a beautiful, serene 25-acre block in the Mooloolah Valley on the Sunshine Coast and will make a significant contribution to improving treatment options for Australians with eating disorders.

About the Role
As our Engagement & Experience Manager, you will act as a trusted clinical liaison, relationship builder, and advocate—strengthening connections between Wandi Nerida and referring clinicians, while ensuring a seamless and supportive experience for participants and families.
You will lead the design and delivery of a thoughtful, values-driven engagement program that builds clinical confidence, trust, and long-term partnerships with:
- GPs, psychiatrists, psychologists and allied health professionals
- Hospital and post-acute care teams
- National and international referrers, industry groups and governing bodies in the Eating Disorder Recovery space
- Wandi Nerida Participants care teams (families, close connections, referrers)
- Internally, this role being at the heart of the Relationship Engagement and Experience Team, and the broader Wandi Nerida and Butterfly teams
At the same time, you will oversee key internal functions across the participant journey—ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to care, clarity, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities and Duties include:
- Stakeholder Engagement & Clinical Relationships
- Build and nurture meaningful relationships with referrers across Australia and internationally
- Design and deliver a structured referrer engagement program
- Represent Wandi Nerida at conferences and within clinical networks
- Clearly and credibly articulate the Wandi Nerida model and outcomes
- Develop clinician-facing materials in collaboration with clinical and marketing teams
- Lead and support a small team across participant coordination, customer support, and data
- Monitor referral trends, market dynamics, and service opportunities
You will bring (selection criteria):
Essential:
- Experience engaging with healthcare professionals in complex clinical environments
- Strong understanding of referral pathways and the Australian healthcare system
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to guide and support a team
- Exceptional communication skills—adaptable, calm, and professional
- A relationship-first mindset (not transactional or sales-driven)
- A genuine commitment to supporting individuals and families impacted by eating disorders
