This role blends relationship building and coordination with hands on nursery work. While you will support planning and client liaison, you’ll also step into the nursery alongside the team working in the nursery.

We are a small and collaborative team, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys working together, sharing knowledge and contributing wherever needed.

  • Work alongside the Nursery Team Leader and team to support nursery operations

  • Assist with seed collection planning and species selection

  • Keep nursery records and project information organised

  • Build positive relationships with stakeholders, partners and community

About You

  • Qualification in horticulture or a related field

  • Knowledge of native plants and interest in ecological restoration

  • Experience working with clients, stakeholders or project partners

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • Comfortable balancing planning work with practical nursery tasks

  • Enjoy working as part of a small, supportive team

  • Current Australian driver’s licence

What’s on Offer

  • A meaningful role supporting Traditional Owners to care for Country

  • The chance to work with a passionate and close-knit team

  • Full-time position based near Ballarat

  • Salary packaging and flexible work options
