An exciting opportunity has become available for a full-time Associate to join one of our friendly tightknit teams (“PODS”) based in our Perth CBD office.

This role is suitable for candidates that are looking to enter into or are completing their professional Year Program.

About the Role

The Associate will work alongside an experienced Senior Advisor while entering into or completing their PY program. The ideal candidate will be set on a successful pathway to becoming and Advisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Being a main contact for clients, attending client meetings with Senior Advisor.
  • Completion of action items from client meetings.
  • Support strategy development, research preparation of quality advice, utilizing Xplan.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external institutions to carry out research, modelling, and calculations, to support the preparation of financial advice to clients.
  • Work collaboratively with Senior Advisor and fellow Client Services Managers to ensure quality client outcomes.
  • Willingness to commence your professional year in the future.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

We are after a self-motivated person interested in making human connections, the ideal candidate will enjoy working both independently and within a team, in addition you will have:

  • Minimum 2-year experience as an Associate or Paraplanner in the Financial Advice industry.
  • Relevant Graduate Diploma / Bachelor’s degree or on a pathway via FASEA.
  • Demonstrated experience, and or working knowledge of Xplan is highly desirable (but not essential).
  • Excellent time management, and communication skills (both written and verbal), with demonstrated ability to work with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and the ability to work in teams or independently.
