VECA is seeking a compassionate, confident Emergency Veterinarian to join our dedicated emergency and critical care team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy solving complex cases, and value teamwork and support, we’d love to meet you.

As an Emergency Veterinarian, you will manage a wide range of urgent and critical cases, collaborate closely with experienced nurses and support staff, and deliver high-quality medicine with empathy and professionalism.

As a 24/7 clinic, our team covers a wide range of shifts, but we pride ourselves on flexible scheduling and working with you to create a schedule that fits your life.

Our hospital is fully equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment capabilities, including:

• Siemens 32-slice CT scanner
• Digital Radiography (DR) X-ray system
• Ultrasound
• Endoscopy
• Dedicated Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

These resources allow our emergency team to deliver efficient, high-quality care for even the most complex cases.

About You

• Proven experience (at least 2+ years) as an emergency vet
• Relevant qualifications
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Confident problem-solver with a collaborative, people-focused approach
• Emergency veterinarians with the ability and confidence to perform emergency surgical procedures are strongly preferred!
