As a Leisure Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the travel experiences of our clients in Beaumaris, Victoria. Your expertise in the travel and tourism industry will enable you to provide tailored recommendations and exceptional customer service, ensuring that each client enjoys a memorable and fulfilling journey. Responsibilities:

• Provide expert advice on travel destinations, activities, and accommodations to clients.
• Develop customised travel itineraries based on client preferences and budgets.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel trends, regulations, and industry developments.
• Assist clients with booking arrangements, including flights, hotels, and tours.
• Handle client inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during the planning process.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
• Collaborate with travel suppliers and partners to secure the best deals for clients.
• Conduct follow-up communications with clients post-travel to gather feedback and ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in the travel and tourism industry, preferably in a consultancy role.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Strong GDS skills (SABRE preferred)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using travel booking systems and software. (Tramada is an advantage)
• A passion for travel and a deep understanding of various destinations.
• Relevant qualifications in travel, tourism, or hospitality are advantageous.
