Position Summary

The Finance Graduate will support the Finance team in delivering accurate financial operations and administrative functions. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience across accounting processes, systems maintenance, and corporate governance support, offering a strong foundation for a career in finance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily rent reconciliation processes, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies
  • Support creditor payment processing, including data entry and verification in the accounting system
  • Maintain and update financial records in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Assist with system maintenance and data integrity across Property Management and Human Resources systems
  • Provide administrative and coordination support to the Company Secretary as required
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field (recent graduate or final year student)
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Familiarity with accounting software (experience with Xero is highly regarded)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks
