• Develop and maintain relationships with sources and contacts in various industries
• Stay up-to-date on current events and trends in order to provide timely and relevant news coverage
• Collaborate with editors, photographers, and other team members to produce high-quality content
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards of journalism, including accuracy, fairness, and objectivity

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or a related field
• Proven experience as a journalist, with a portfolio of published work
• Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to write in a variety of styles and formats
• Excellent research and interviewing skills
• Knowledge of AP style and other journalistic standards
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
