Vater Machinery is a family-owned business with a strong reputation in South Australia. With locations in Saddleworth, Kadina, and Nuriootpa, we have built a trusted name across agricultural and viticultural sectors. We are known for offering quality machinery, parts, and expert service.
Working closely with and reporting to the Service Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing efficient and professional workshop and in-field repairs in an accurate and timely manner.
Key Attributes required for the Position include:
- Proven experience in a similar role in the agricultural or heavy machinery industry and a strong knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems would be an advantage.
- Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities
- Trade Qualified
- A customer-focused approach with strong communication skills
- Posses excellent time-management skills
- Ability to complete all required paperwork in a timely and efficient manner
- Be self-motivated, enthusiastic and enjoy working in a team environment whilst being capable of working individually
- Availability to be rostered for “On-Call” service / breakdowns during the seasons of seeding and harvest
- Ability to develop and foster on-going positive working relationships with customers
- Posses a passion for agriculture
