The Role:

Based at our Melbourne subsidiary, Integrated Design and Engineering Solutions (IDES), we have a permanent position for a motivated and talented Business Administrator to join our team.

This is a unique opportunity where you will:

  • General reception duties, including receiving telephone calls, visitors and contractors at reception ensuring internal contacts are notified immediately and applying all relevant procedures.
  • Oversee control and ordering of stock / supplies including but not limited to stationery, kitchen supplies and PPE.
  • Set up Projects and Jobs in EPICOR and provide reporting as required.
  • Process Purchase Orders, Supplier Invoices and other accounting support duties as required.
  • Input Account Receivable Invoices (into EPICOR) and assist with credit control.
  • Assist with a range of Accounts and Payroll support activities including but not limited to processing timesheets & Living Away from Home Allowances.
  • Provide training / advice for employees on use of EPICOR & Employment Hero systems.
  • Organise staff travel and associated arrangements as appropriately authorised.
  • Provide administrative support to IDES Management Team.
  • Undertake a range of data entry, document editing, document management tasks to support Managers and organisational requirements and undertake other administrative tasks including basic maintenance of equipment, goods receipting, distribution etc.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven experience in working collaboratively with others and independently.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, particularly with folders and file systems.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position.
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport and partner with key internal stakeholders.
  • Sound computer skills including the Microsoft suite of programs.
