As our Talent Acquisition Specialist, your job is simple: Find and secure the best people in the market before our competitors do.
You will be responsible for building and scaling our field workforce across labourers, tradespeople, and key operational roles.
What You’ll Do
- Own end-to-end recruitment across field and office roles
- Run high-volume recruitment campaigns for labourers, landscapers, and tradespeople
- Write compelling job ads that attract quality candidates (not time-wasters)
- Screen, interview and qualify candidates quickly and effectively
- Proactively source candidates through SEEK, social platforms and direct outreach
- Build and maintain a strong, ready-to-go talent pipeline
- Move fast – reduce time-to-hire without compromising quality
- Coordinate onboarding, inductions, and ensure all compliance requirements are met
- Maintain accurate records of licences, tickets, certifications and onboarding documentation
- Work closely with leadership on workforce planning and hiring priorities
- Track recruitment performance (time-to-hire, quality of hire, retention)
- Continuously improve recruitment systems, processes and candidate experience
What We’re Looking For
- Strong communication skills – friendly but firm, you know how to control a conversation
- Proven ability to recruit in fast-paced or high-volume environments
- Someone who understands blue collar/trades recruitment (or can learn fast)
- Confident using recruitment platforms, CRM systems and job boards
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- A proactive operator – you don’t wait, you go find people
- Someone who takes ownership and delivers outcomes, not excuses
- Minimum 5+ years of work experience required
- Previous recruitment or talent acquisition experience is highly regarded

- You must be comfortable picking up the phone and chasing candidates
- You must be able to assess people quickly and accurately
- You must care about quality hires, not just filling seats
