About the role
The Administration Support Officer plays a key role in supporting the Thrive team by delivering efficient, confidential, and customer-focused administrative services. The position ensures the smooth day-to-day operation of the program through maintaining accurate systems and the Thrive database, supporting service coordination, and enabling timely, responsive support to tenants.
Working in a fast-paced environment, the role requires strong organisational skills to manage competing priorities, sound judgement and discretion when handling sensitive information, and the initiative to resolve administrative challenges. As part of a multidisciplinary team, the position contributes to a collaborative, positive, and solution-focused culture.
About you
- Certificate IV in Business (or equivalent) and/or relevant administrative experience
- Demonstrated experience providing high-quality, customer-focused administrative support
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Sound judgement, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience maintaining databases and administrative systems
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment
