Up There is searching for a passionate and ambitious Creative Director to lead the creative vision across two premium retail brands: Up There and Up There Athletics.
Reporting to the Marketing Director, you’ll partner closely to bring UT and UTA’s brand stories to life through campaigns, content, and refined visual systems. We’re looking for a leader who lives and breathes culture — someone energised by sneakers, fashion, and community, and who builds trust through clarity, collaboration, and premium creative craft.
As a key creative leader, you’ll be an exceptional communicator and collaborator, able to unite cross‑functional teams and guide the creative process end‑to‑end. You’ll confidently project‑manage creative work-streams, ensuring ideas move seamlessly from concept to execution while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
What You’ll Do
– Lead creative direction and visual identity across UT + UTA
– Concept and direct campaigns, product drops, editorial stories, and in-store creative

– Oversee end‑to‑end creative production, ensuring smooth workflow across photo, video, motion, and digital content
–
– Project‑manage the creative process from ideation to delivery, bringing clarity, structure, and momentum to all work-streams
–
– Build and manage the creative/content roadmap with the Marketing Director
–
– Guide and develop a high‑performing creative team, fostering a culture of openness, craft, and collaboration
–
– Maintain premium standards across all creative output
What You Bring
– 7–10+ years in creative or art direction (fashion/streetwear/sport strongly preferred)

– A portfolio showcasing premium brand building and refined taste
–
– On‑set direction experience across photography and video
–
– A genuine love for sneakers, fashion, and culture
–
– Exceptional communication skills — able to articulate ideas clearly and bring teams on the journey

– A collaborative, relationship‑driven working style that builds trust across Marketing, Retail, Buying, and external creatives
–
– Strong organisational and project‑management capability, with the ability to balance creativity with deadlines and delivery
–
