The Role
As Senior Commercial Business Development Manager – International, you will play a critical role in driving international commercial growth across key global markets. Reporting directly into the Head of Commercial – International, you will own international business development initiatives across commercial verticals, lead strategic partnerships, and oversee wholesale performance outside of core managed accounts.
This role combines hands-on commercial execution with strategic leadership and includes one direct report (Business Development- International), whom you will help coach, mentor, and support to deliver pipeline growth along with the Head of Commercial.
You will work cross-functionally with marketing, operations, logistics, and finance to ensure scalable, commercially sound outcomes while building long-term, high-value relationships with international partners.
This role is full time and fully remote and we are open to all candidates within Western Europe areas.
Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Commercial Strategy & Growth
- Own and execute international commercial business development strategies aligned with broader global growth objectives
- Identify, assess, and prioritise new international commercial opportunities across fitness, wellness, hospitality, and allied sectors
- Implement and optimise sales strategies, frameworks, and processes aligned with the commercial marketing calendar
- Lead complex commercial negotiations and close high-value agreements across international markets
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Directly manage and develop one Business Development team member, providing coaching, performance oversight, and development support
- Act as a senior commercial partner to internal stakeholders including marketing, communications, operations, logistics, and finance
- Support the Head of Commercial – International with strategic insights, market intelligence, and lead overflow where required
Wholesale & Account Management
- Own and grow the international wholesale customer base, driving replenishment, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities
- Build long-term, trusted relationships with key international partners and accounts
- Monitor customer feedback and market trends, translating insights into commercial recommendations and continuous improvement initiatives
Pipeline & Operational Excellence
- Oversee incoming international commercial leads (excluding accounts aligned to Head of Commercial verticals)
- Prepare commercial proposals, pricing structures, and business cases
- Maintain accurate forecasting, reporting, and CRM hygiene across Pipedrive and other sales systems
- Liaise with finance on invoicing and payments, and logistics on delivery timelines and installations
Brand Representation
- Represent Your Reformer at international trade shows, expos, conferences, and key partner meetings
- Act as a brand ambassador, reinforcing premium positioning and consistent brand execution globally
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven ability to operate autonomously at a senior level within a remote, international environment
- Strong commercial acumen with a strategic mindset and hands-on execution capability
- Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills
- High level of professionalism, motivation, and commercial drive
- Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in business development or commercial sales, ideally within fitness, health, wellness, consumer goods, or a fast-paced international environment
- Prior experience managing or mentoring team members is highly regarded
- Strong CRM experience (Pipedrive or HubSpot experience preferred)
- Fluent English required; French language skills are a strong advantage
