Annual Salary: $ 98,377.50 inclusive of remote loading, laundry, uniform allowances

Additional allowances to base salary (potential earnings $105,877.50)

Accommodation: Fully furnished staff accommodation is provided, with a small subsidised utilities fee — only $30 per bedroom per fortnight. Remote Travel Allowance: $7,500 per year, paid in fortnightly instalments. Work Phone: Provision of a work phone to support effective communication and role responsibilities. Program Leave: Unique 6-week continuous service cycle with weeks paid leave, in addition to other leave entitlements. Paid Paternity Leave: 8 weeks of company-paid paternity leave, accessible after 1 year of service.

Loaded Annual Leave: 4 weeks of annual leave each year, with leave loading. Relocation Assistance: One-time $1,500 relocation support — 50% upfront, balance reimbursed upon receipt submission. Save on Tax with Salary Sacrificing: Salary sacrifice up to approximately $16,000 per year. Superannuation: Standard superannuation contributions. Non-Smoker Incentive:

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Overseeing the daily operations of a busy primary health clinic.

  • Leading and supporting staff across administration, reception, and clinical teams.

  • Driving quality improvement, accreditation, and compliance processes.

  • Managing budgets, procurement, and clinical equipment maintenance.

  • Ensuring smooth Medicare billing, MBS claiming, and accurate reporting.

  • Coordinating visiting health professionals and supporting clinical onboarding.

  • Championing workplace health and safety and fostering a positive team culture.

  • Building strong relationships with key health partners and community stakeholders.

What You Bring

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and support diverse teams.

  • Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.

  • Experience in health administration, practice management, or clinical operations.

  • Confidence interpreting policies, legislation, and health service standards.

  • Solid understanding of primary health care and Medicare processes.

Essential Requirements

  • Diploma of Practice Management (or equivalent).

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the health sector.

  • Police clearance, Working With Children Check, and full driver’s licence.

  • Willingness to relocate to a remote South Australian community.

Highly Valued

  • Experience in Aboriginal health or remote/rural settings.

  • Knowledge of AGPAL standards, MBS, and primary health care systems.

  • Familiarity with Communicare.

  • Understanding of Aboriginal culture or ability to speak Pitjantjatjara.

Key Working Relationships

The Practice Manager reports to and takes directions from the Health General Manager.

The Practice Manager is a part of the Management which consists of:

• Chief Executive Officer

• Chief Operations Officer

• Executive Assistant

• Human Resources General Manager

• Social Services General Manager

• Health General Manager

The Practice Manager must also establish and effectively communicate with the following:

• Kakarrara Wilrurrara Health Alliance (KWHA)

• Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS)

• Aboriginal Health Council SA (AHCSA)

• Rural Doctors Workforce Agency (RDWA)

• Ceduna Health

• Yadu Health

• South Australia Ambulance Service (SAAS)

• South Australia Police (SAPOL)

• Any other Health service not mentioned.
