Job Summary:

Tuley, a family-owned disability support organization, is seeking an Experienced Female Disability Support Worker to assist an 11-year-old autistic girl in developing independence and community connections. This role involves after-school support, weekends, and school holidays in a trauma-informed and person-centred framework.

Responsibilities:

Support the development of independence in daily activities for the 11-year-old girl.

Assist with cooking, shopping, budgeting.

Provide emotional support and encouragement.

Maintain professional boundaries.

Collaborate with team members effectively.

Qualifications:

Previous experience supporting autistic children and adolescents preferred but not essential.

Good English skills.

Current Driver’s License and road-worthy vehicle.Custom Instructions by User (if applicable):

NDIS Worker Screening Check required.

Police Check required.

Experience supporting people with ASD and anxiety preferred.
