Summary:

The Project Surveyor will play a crucial role in the Building & Construction industry, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Based in Canberra, this permanent full-time position requires a detail-oriented professional who can effectively manage surveying tasks and collaborate with various stakeholders to facilitate successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed land surveys and prepare accurate reports for construction projects.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Assist in the preparation of project budgets and cost estimates.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations throughout the surveying process.
  • Utilise surveying equipment and software to gather and analyse data.
  • Resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise during the surveying process.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a surveying role within the building and construction industry.
  • Proficiency in using surveying equipment and software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations in the construction industry.
