The Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced Detail & Topographic Surveyor to join our growing Sydney team.
This role offers the autonomy to manage your own projects, backed by the support of an experienced and approachable management team. You’ll have exposure to a wide variety of projects — from residential and infrastructure to major TfNSW works and the opportunity to develop your leadership and technical capabilities as part of a business that truly invests in its people.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct detail and topographic surveys using modern surveying equipment and methods
- Perform boundary, feature, and construction set-out surveys
- Prepare accurate survey plans and drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar
- Analyse and process survey data with precision and attention to detail
- Collaborate with engineers, planners, and construction professionals
- Ensure equipment is maintained and calibrated to industry standards
- Deliver all work to Australian surveying standards and regulations
About You
- You’re a motivated, capable surveyor who takes pride in accuracy and professionalism. You’ll bring:
- A Diploma or Degree in Surveying (or equivalent)
- 3+ years’ experience in detail and topographic surveying
- Strong CAD and drafting skills (AutoCAD/Civil 3D)
- Experience using Total Stations, GPS/GNSS, and laser scanners
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- A valid driver’s licence and flexibility to travel to project sites
- Bonus: TfNSW or civil infrastructure project experience
