Summary:

The Director of Strategic Account Operations serves as the executive owner for the company’s most strategic enterprise partnerships. This role operates as a general manager for key accounts, with responsibility for overall account health, contractual compliance, and long-term global growth. This role will ensure alignment across operational, engineering, supply chain, and production to consistently deliver on commitments and strengthen client relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end performance of key global accounts, ensuring all contractual obligations, service level agreements, and performance standards are met or exceeded
  • Act as the primary escalation point for issues that could impact account performance or client satisfaction
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of purchase orders, ensuring timely acknowledgment, production, and delivery in line with agreed timelines
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet production, logistics, and delivery commitment
  • Ensure all required communications and updates are delivered within contractual notice periods
  • Lead management-level reporting, maintaining accuracy and transparency around production status, KPIs, and service performance
  • Oversee investigations into product or service issues, including root cause analysis and timely documentation
  • Manage regional inventory and spare parts strategies to maintain required service levels
  • Monitor and adjust inventory levels based on usage trends and account needs
  • Serve as the central point of coordination between regional and international teams to ensure consistent global service delivery
  • Manage manufacturing commitments and forecasting to align production capacity with customer demand and support long-term growth

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in senior account management or business development, ideally within EV charging infrastructure, renewable energy, or industrial hardware
  • Strong understanding of hardware-as-a-service models, firmware deployment, and cloud-connected systems
  • Proven experience managing complex, high-value contracts with performance-based requirements
  • Demonstrated experience working with high-profile, enterprise-level or strategic clients
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams across operations, engineering, and supply chain
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in a global, matrixed environment
