Help Us Shape the Future of Aged Care

Trilogy Care is one of Australia’s fastest-growing approved Support at Home (HCP/S@H) providers.

We’re a vibrant, purpose-driven team dedicated to helping people live independently at home for longer. Our work goes beyond requirements – it’s about creating meaningful impact for our clients, their families, and our people. We’re proud to be building a workplace where individuals feel empowered, supported, and valued.

Role Overview

The Business Analyst is a hands-on role at the intersection of aged care operations, digital product delivery, and applied AI. Working closely with the Innovation & Transformation Lead and cross-functional teams, you will translate operational and clinical workflows into clear business and system requirements. This role suits an early-career BA with strong analytical skills, curiosity about AI and digital tools, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct structured discovery with care operations, care management, and digital teams to gather business requirements for AI and digital initiatives.
  • Facilitate and document requirements workshops, user interviews, and process walkthroughs with frontline care partners, coordinators, and operational managers.
  • Translate operational and clinical workflows into clear business requirements documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria for the digital product team.
  • Analyse operational data, portal usage, care management activity, and claims patterns to surface insights that inform process improvement and digital product decisions.
  • Support the identification of AI use cases by mapping operational pain points, data availability, and workflow gaps across the business.
  • Assist in specifying requirements for AI-assisted workflows including care management activity capture, claims quality tools, AT-HM classification, and care planning support.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) for portal and AI tool releases, documenting test cases, capturing defects, and tracking resolution.
  • Serve as a reliable point of contact between care operations, the digital product team, and the Innovation & Transformation function, producing clear documentation and supporting change activities.

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex operational processes and translate them into structured requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, able to produce clear documentation and facilitate discussions with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Professional experience using AI tools for documentation, analysis, or requirements work.
  • Ability to gather, synthesise, and document business requirements from multiple stakeholders with competing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with process mapping or diagramming tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or Miro.
  • Genuine interest in aged care and a commitment to improving outcomes for older Australians.
  • Prior BA, analyst, or coordinator experience in aged care, community health, disability, or a regulated environment.

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with Support at Home programs, Home Care Packages, aged care quality standards, CRM systems, care management platforms, or clinical information systems.
  • Understanding of Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies and experience with sprint planning, backlog refinement, or UAT.
  • Experience working with data teams or business intelligence outputs to inform decision-making.
  • Tertiary qualification in business analysis, information systems, health management, aged care, or a related field.
