Summary:

The Field Calibration Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of measurement instruments used in various engineering applications. This position involves on-site calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment, contributing to the overall quality assurance processes within the organisation. The technician will work closely with engineering teams to support project requirements and uphold industry standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site calibration of measurement instruments and equipment according to established procedures and standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of calibration equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Document calibration results and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to identify calibration needs and provide technical support.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of calibration procedures and protocols.
  • Stay updated on industry standards and advancements in calibration technology.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in calibration or maintenance of measurement instruments.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and measurement techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
