Project Manager

Description

The Role

You will lead end-to-end project delivery, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within scope, and on budget.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage projects from initiation through to completion
  • Coordinate with engineers, designers, contractors, and clients
  • Develop and track project plans, timelines, and resources
  • Monitor progress using ERP systems, Power BI, and Gantt charts
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Oversee procurement, vendor management, and contracts
  • Lead project meetings and provide clear stakeholder updates
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
  • Prepare project documentation, reports, and budgets

About You

  • Degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering
  • 5–10 years’ experience managing infrastructure projects
  • Strong knowledge of Australian Standards (AS 1170, AS 1428, AS 2156, AS 1657)
  • Confident in client-facing presentations and communication
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in MS Project and project management tools
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification (desirable)
  • Experience in water infrastructure (highly regarded)
  • Australian work rights required
