JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Multi Combination (MC) Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of goods. This role requires a high level of professionalism, adherence to road safety regulations, and a commitment to delivering excellent service.
THE ROLE:
- Operate MC/HC-class heavy vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Transport goods and materials over long and short distances as required.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and ensure proper vehicle maintenance.
- Comply with all road transport laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Accurately complete logbooks and other required documentation.
- Coordinate with dispatchers and customers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Secure loads properly and ensure safe loading and unloading procedures.
- Handle basic maintenance and report any vehicle defects or issues.
- Sign On Glass, Proof Of Deliveries’s and photos uploaded on our TMS software
SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid Multi Combination (MC) or (HC) driver’s license.
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a MC/HC truck driver.
- Good knowledge of Australian road laws and fatigue management regulations.
- Good knowledge of Mass Management and Load Restrain guidelines
- Ability to drive long distances and work flexible hours, including weekends if required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- A clean driving record and ability to pass a medical and drug/alcohol screening.
- Experience with refrigerated transport, bulk haulage, or dangerous goods (if applicable).
