About the Team
As part of the Customer & Product group, you’ll work closely with Customer Success, Professional Services, Product, Engineering, Finance, Commercial and Legal teams. The team blends structure, strategy and creativity to pursue new opportunities, capturing customer needs, aligning responses to evaluation criteria and ensuring technical and commercial inputs are accurate and compelling.
This is a hands‑on role for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and takes pride in producing high‑quality submissions that directly influence business growth.
About the Role
We’re seeking a Bid Management Specialist to lead and coordinate the development of high‑quality, compliant and competitive bids. You’ll support the full bid lifecycle capturing customer needs, developing win strategies, coordinating inputs and producing persuasive proposal content that clearly articulates Transmax’s value.
This role suits someone who enjoys structured coordination, clear communication and turning technical and commercial detail into compelling, customer‑aligned responses.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the end‑to‑end bid lifecycle from qualification through to submission and post‑bid review.
- Develop evidence‑based win strategies aligned to customer needs and evaluation criteria.
- Produce persuasive, compliant proposal content aligned to scoring frameworks.
- Coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders to align solution design, pricing and risk positions.
- Maintain bid plans, timelines, reviews and governance discipline.
- Facilitate quality reviews (pink/red/black hat) to strengthen clarity and competitiveness.
- Manage submission packaging, version control, portals and customer communications.
- Maintain templates, content libraries and bid tools (Salesforce) to support ongoing improvement.
- Apply win/loss insights to refine future strategies and proposal quality.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience managing bids, tenders or complex proposals.
- Strong persuasive writing, editing and storytelling capability.
- Ability to coordinate multiple contributors under time pressure.
- Experience developing win strategies and customer‑aligned narratives.
- Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
- Strong organisational skills with a customer‑centric, outcomes‑focused approach.
- Desirable: experience in technology, transport, infrastructure or public‑sector bidding.
- Tertiary qualification in business, communications, marketing, engineering or similar.
