Description

We are a reputed, multi-cultural, NDIS-registered Disability Services Provider seeking Disability Support Workers in the Sunshine Coast region.

We have immediate openings for disability support workers to join our team in supporting our participants below:

PARTICIPANT 1: Young adult male, diagnosed with Level 3 Autism and Intellectual Impairment. Needs experienced and physically fit support workers, who can engage in physical activities like riding a bike. Must be available to be rostered over 24/7 shifts – at least 3 shifts a week.

PARTICIPANT 2: Adult male, diagnosed with mild to moderate intellectual disability and Autism Spectrum Disorder, prone to occasional escalations. Needs support workers with behavioural management skills who can handle escalations and mandatory reporting requirements. Must be available for a minimum of three 8-hour shifts in a week.

PARTICIPANT 3: Young female diagnosed with ASD level 2, Intellectual Impairment, OCD and Anxiety disorder. Needs mature support workers with behavioural management skills for a minimum of three 8-hour shifts in a week.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Yellow Card or NDIS worker screening clearance (or immediately obtain). Blue Card (or immediately obtain).
  • Current First Aid and CPR (or immediately obtain).
  • MAYBO training or equivalent (or immediately obtain).
  • Driver’s License, Comprehensive vehicle Insurance and Vehicle.
  • NDIS worker orientation modules x 3 (Free Online Training).
  • Positive attitude and passion to improving the lives of people.
  • Adhere to The NDIS Code of Conduct.
