Customer Liaison Officer – Infrastructure (Tallangatta)

  • $38.09 to $43.48 per hour, dependent on skills and experience

As a Customer Liaison Officer, you’ll:

  • respond to internal and external customer enquiries in accordance with Council’s Customer Service Standards
  • perform a broad range of administrative duties, including the preparation of correspondence to support the Infrastructure and Environment directorate
  • monitor and review the Customer Relationship Management system and provide regular reports to Director Infrastructure and Environment on the status of customer requests and recommendations for updates and actions from responsible officers
  • build strong relationships across departments, research and introduce new ideas to enhance systems and processes

To be successful, you’ll need:

  • demonstrated relevant skills and experience in providing customer service, preferably in Local Government or in another relevant setting.
  • class C driver’s licence
  • well-developed time management skills with the ability to deal with challenging situations via a range of contact channels: phone, face-to-face and email.
  • demonstrated high-quality communication, presentation and writing skills, including the ability to produce reports and prepare routine correspondence
  • high-quality digital and administration skills, with experience in customer request management systems, telephone systems and databases.
