Rivershed, Howard Smith Wharves.

This temporary volunteer role offers a unique opportunity to support a charitable event aimed at raising funds for cancer research and awareness. As a volunteer, you will play a vital part in ensuring the success of this event, contributing to a cause that makes a significant difference in the community.

Attend the event between 10.30am-5pm and assist with the following Responsibilities:

• Assist with event setup and breakdown, ensuring all areas are prepared for guests
• Help with registration and welcoming attendees as they arrive
• Support catering staff in serving food and beverages to guests
• Provide information and assistance to guests throughout the event
• Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the event space during and after the lunch
• Engage with attendees to promote the cause and encourage donations

Qualifications:

• No formal education required; enthusiasm for volunteering is essential
• Previous experience in event support or customer service is an advantage, but not mandatory
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
• A positive attitude and willingness to help others
