We are seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor (2IC) to support and act as second-in-command to our Housekeeping Manager. This is a hands-on leadership role, you will lead from the front, oversee shift operations, and take ownership of the facility presentation when the Manager is off-site.
The Role:
As Housekeeping Supervisor, you will:
• Lead and supervise the housekeeping team during assigned shifts
• Act as the senior point of contact in the Manager’s absence
• Maintain impeccable standards across gym floors, recovery zones, spa areas, amenities, café spaces, and back-of-house
• Conduct quality control checks and uphold presentation benchmarks
• Support the Housekeeping Manager shift planning, task allocation, and workflow optimisation
• Support the Housekeeping Manager in recruitment, onboarding, and training of new housekeeping team members
• Monitor cleaning stock levels and equipment functionality
• Ensure compliance with WHS, hygiene, and facility standards
• Identify improvement opportunities and proactively escalate issues
• Work collaboratively with Operations, Spa, Fitness, and Hospitality teams
About You:
You are:
• Experienced in commercial housekeeping, hospitality, or high-traffic facilities
• Confident in a supervisory or team leadership capacity
• Extremely detail-oriented, you notice what others miss
• Calm, decisive, and proactive under pressure
• Comfortable holding team members accountable to standards
• Physically capable of hands-on operational work
• Highly organised with strong time management
• Knowledgeable in WHS practices and safe chemical handling
