Receptionist

Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly organised, professional, and personable Receptionist to join our customer service team. This role is pivotal to delivering an exceptional member experience and ensuring the smooth day to day operation of the business. Due to the nature of our operating hours, applicants must have full availability across mornings, evenings, and weekends. While this does not mean full-time hours or working every day, flexibility to support the needs of the business is essential.

As the first point of contact for members, guests, and enquiries, you will represent the TotalFusion brand with warmth and professionalism. You will manage all front desk operations, provide administrative support across departments, and play an active role in member communication, engagement, and account management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary point of contact for all in-person, phone, and digital enquiries
• Greet and welcome members and guests promptly and professionally
• Direct enquiries and visitors to the appropriate team member or department
• Manage and maintain the reception area to ensure it is welcoming, organised, and well-presented at all times
• Manage overdue accounts and liaise with members regarding outstanding balances in a professional and respectful manner
• Conduct service and follow-up calls to members to support re-engagement and retention initiatives
• Support internal teams with administrative and operational tasks as required

Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in a Receptionist, Front Desk, or Customer Service role (health, fitness, or hospitality environments highly regarded)
• Strong proficiency in Google Workspace (Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Calendar, etc.)
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• High level of professionalism, presentation, and attention to detail
• Ability to effectively multitask, prioritise workload, and confidently handle challenging conversations with professionalism.
