Receptionist

Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and organised Receptionist to join our team in Springfield, Queensland. In this permanent full-time role, which is responsible for opening the club every morning from 5am (Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday) within the leisure and sport industry, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and efficient administrative support. Your role is vital in enhancing customer experience and maintaining smooth operations within our facility.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
• Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate personnel.
• Manage appointment bookings and maintain the reception area.
• Provide information about services and facilities to clients and visitors.
• Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and mail.
• Assist with administrative tasks as required, including data entry and filing.
• Maintain a clean and organised reception area.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role is preferred but not essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in using office software and equipment.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
