Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Telecommunications Rigger to join our team in Dalby, Queensland. This permanent, full-time position is crucial for ensuring the safe and efficient installation and maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting our
operations and enhancing connectivity for our clients across the region.
Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain telecommunications equipment and infrastructure, including antennas and cables.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine installation requirements.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all rigging activities.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to execute installation plans effectively.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on telecommunications systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Document all work completed and report any issues or concerns to management.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in telecommunications rigging or a related field is preferred.
- Hold a High Risk licence in Intermediate Rigging or higher
- Driver’s Licence Car (Light/Heavy rigid Vehicle would be bonus )
- Hold or have held an RF awareness certificate (Show knowledge of and pass a test )
- Hold a current White Card
- Hold a current Telstra Induction Card
- Hold a current Senior First Aid Certificate
- Hold a current working at heights and Tower Rescue Certificate
- Pass regular medical appraisals (fit to climb)
- Having appropriate EWP, Fork lift, Crane operator, mobile plant licences would be viewed favourably
