Tiger & Bear Legal Advisory is expanding in Melbourne. We’ve recently acquired a great Melbourne practice serving startups and growth businesses, and now we’re adding capacity for the work we love most: complex M&A, projects and other strategic transactions where the stakes are real.
We are seeking an experienced corporate lawyer who:
- enjoys running deals end-to-end (not just turning documents),
- brings sharp judgement + calm execution under pressure,
- cares about legal excellence, diligence, honesty and integrity, and
- wants to help lead a team that’s commercial, collaborative and straight-talking.
This is a chance to do genuinely meaningful work, with real client proximity (whether founders, corporates or the funds that support them) and the opportunity to help shape what we’re building in Melbourne.

Tiger & Bear is a young but quickly growing multi-disciplinary advisory firm, launched by a nimble and close-knit team focused on delivering clients actionable advice and superior outcomes. Tiger & Bear Partners is supporting a wide range of strategic activities for clients, including legal advice (particularly in the telecommunications, energy and technology sectors), strategy development, M&A, and other commercial projects. In this role, you will be given the opportunity to both utilise your legal skills, but to also be meaningfully exposed to the corporate development and strategy arm of Tiger & Bear Partners.
