The Opportunity
Our beautiful hotel is looking for an enthusiastic and helpful Porter to join our Concierge team on a Full-Time and Part-Time basis. As a key player within our Concierge Department, you will be the first and last point of contact for our guests, therefore great people skills are a must!
Your day-to-day:
- Greet and attend to all guests upon arrival and departure, be the first and last point of contact!
- Provide helpful, friendly and personalised service, attending to guest errands and requests.
- Handle guest luggage; delivering bags and luggage to the relevant rooms where necessary.
- Provide accurate information on the hotel and restaurants within the group.
- Valet Park guest cars as required.
- Have sound knowledge of public transport, local attractions, restaurants and events going on around Melbourne/Victoria region.
Our successful candidate will have:
- One year experience in a similar role or 5-star hotel environment.
- Australian Manual Drivers Licence a must.
- A real passion for delivering positive outcomes.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Communication and time management skills.
- Exceptional eye for detail and a positive attitude.
- Previous Opera knowledge will be highly regarded.
