We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Hand to join our team in Griffith, New South Wales. This temporary, casual role is essential for maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. The Kitchen Hand will support the culinary team by assisting with food preparation, cleaning, and organisation, contributing to the overall success of our food service operations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of food items as directed by the chef
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to ensure hygiene standards are met
• Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Support the kitchen team during busy periods to ensure timely service
• Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred
• Basic food safety knowledge and understanding of hygiene practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
