The Dental Group (Dental Lounge, Sydney Implant Institute and Dental 99) is seeking a highly responsive, hands-on IT Systems Support Specialist to support our growing network of dental clinics across Sydney.
Our clinics rely on stable, secure systems to deliver patient care. When IT systems fail, appointments are disrupted and operations stop. This role requires urgency, accountability and strong troubleshooting capability across hardware, networks, cloud platforms and dental software systems.
You will be the go-to person for resolving issues quickly, preventing recurring problems, and ensuring our clinics operate without disruption.
The Role
Rapid-Response IT Support (Core Focus)
- Act as the first escalation point for urgent IT issues impacting clinic operations
- Provide same-day resolution for most Level 1–2 issues
- Deliver on-site support across Sydney clinics when required
- Diagnose and resolve workstation, printer, phone, imaging and connectivity failures under time pressure
- Clearly communicate with clinical teams during system disruptions
- This is not a ticket-queue role. We are looking for someone who takes ownership and solves problems quickly.
Clinic & Dental Systems Support
- Maintain and troubleshoot dental software (e.g. D4W) and imaging systems
- Ensure uninterrupted internet connectivity and network stability
- Support integrations between Office 365, HubSpot and other cloud platforms
- Liaise with vendors for escalations and urgent system fixes
Infrastructure & Systems Administration
- Administer Microsoft 365 (user accounts, permissions, shared mailboxes)
- Manage device onboarding, access permissions and system setups
- Maintain IT asset registers and lifecycle planning
- Contribute to documentation, SOPs and process improvements
About You:
• Highly responsive and action-oriented
• Comfortable working directly with clinicians and operations teams
• Able to prioritise effectively across multiple sites
• Hands-on and solutions-focused
Must Have
- 5+ years’ IT support experience
- Strong Microsoft 365 administration skills
- Solid networking fundamentals (routers, firewalls, connectivity troubleshooting)
- Experience supporting multi-site environments
- Excellent troubleshooting and stakeholder communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with dental software (e.g. D4W)
- HubSpot or CRM system experience
- Exposure to imaging systems
- Basic automation or scripting knowledge
