About the Role
We’re seeking a hands-on Production Shift Supervisor to lead our afternoon shift operations (2.30pm-10.30pm).
Reporting to the Production Manager, you’ll be responsible for delivering output, leading teams on the floor, and ensuring operations run safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
This is a critical role for someone who thrives in fast-paced manufacturing environments, maintaining production momentum across powder blending, canning, and sachet lines, ensuring strong execution and seamless transition between shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute the daily production plan to meet output, timing, and quality targets
- Lead, coach, and manage Line Leaders and Production Operators
- Monitor real-time performance (output, downtime, waste, yield) and act quickly on issues
- Allocate labour effectively across production lines
- Drive safety, GMP compliance, and operational standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimise downtime
- Coordinate closely with Warehouse and Quality teams
- Deliver clear shift handovers and accurate reporting
About You
You’re a decisive, hands-on leader who takes ownership and drives results. You’re comfortable on the floor, leading from the front, and making calls under pressure.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in a manufacturing supervisory role (FMCG,
food, nutraceutical or pharma preferred)
- Strong leadership and team management capability
- Solid understanding of production processes, safety, and GMP requirements
- Ability to manage shift operations and make real-time
decisions
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience in fast-paced production environments
- Forklift licence (highly regarded)
