Male Disabillity Support Worker

About the Role: We are seeking a reliable and professional male support worker to assist a participant with a stroke-related disability. This role involves providing person-centred support both in the home and within the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide transport and support for community access
• Assist with domestic duties and meal preparation
• Deliver respectful, person-centred care in line with the participant’s needs
• Support the participant in maintaining independence and daily routines

About You:

• Honest, reliable, punctual, and professional
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills
• Ability to build rapport and communicate respectfully (talking with the participant, not at them)
• Calm and confident in managing behaviours of concern

Additional Information:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant disability support experience.

• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.

• Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
• Relevant disability support experience
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• First Aid & CPR Certificate
