Our Venues
Due to ongoing expansion of our business operations, CH on Peel Pty Ltd (trading as Central Hospitality Group) requires a full-time chef to join its management team. Our operations are situated at Tamworth, in North West NSW, and include:
- CH Boutique Hotel (62 rooms) and heritage listed DECO Wine Bar & Restaurant;
- Hopscotch Restaurant;
- The Pavilion Function and Conference Centre; and
- Pig & Tinder Box Restaurant and Bar
DECO Wine Bar & Restaurant, Hopscotch Restaurant and Pig & Tinder are full service, high-end dine in establishments that also support the room service function at CH Boutique Hotel and our function and conference events business. Our team is dedicated to providing an exceptional F&B experience that goes beyond, fostering connections and moments that matter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome customers with a warm and inviting demeanor.
- Assist in seating guests and managing reservations effectively.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all special requests are communicated to the kitchen.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and with care, maintaining our high standards.
- Engage with customers to provide recommendations, answer questions, and ensure their satisfaction.
- Handle payment transactions accurately and provide checks to customers.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized dining area.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a similar role is a plus, but not essential – training will be provided.
- A positive attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
- Strong communication skills and an ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail, ensuring orders are correct and presented beautifully.
- Flexibility to work on a casual basis, including evenings and weekends.
- A team player with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Current RSA or willingness to obtain one.
