Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Speech Therapist to join our team in providing speech therapy services to patients in need. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for helping others, and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Skills:

– Excellent verbal and written communication skills

– Strong interpersonal skills

– Ability to assess and diagnose speech disorders

– Knowledge of various therapy techniques for speech improvement

– Ability to create individualized treatment plans

– Experience working with patients of all ages

Responsibilities:

– Conducting assessments to diagnose speech disorders

– Developing individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings

– Providing therapy sessions to improve speech and language skills

– Monitoring progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed

– Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and psychologists, to provide comprehensive care for patients

– Educating patients and their families on strategies for improving communication skills

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field

from an accredited institution

– Current license or registration as a Speech Therapist in Australia

– Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Speech Therapist

– Certification from the Australian Speak Easy Association (ASEA) preferred

– Strong knowledge of evidence-based practice in speech therapy
