Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical, mental, or developmental disabilities to help them achieve independence in their daily activities.

Responsibilities:

– Conducting assessments of patients’ physical, cognitive, emotional, and social functioning

– Developing individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings

– Implementing therapeutic interventions to improve patients’ functional abilities

– Monitoring progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed

– Providing education to patients and their families on adaptive techniques or equipment

– Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy (Master’s degree preferred)

– Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

– Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an Occupational Therapist in a clinical setting

(experience in the healthcare industry is preferred)

– Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and guidelines related to occupational therapy practice
