Our marketing and communications team plays an important role in how our brand is experienced both internally and externally, supporting the three BADGE Group brands — BADGE Constructions, Chappell Builders and NACP Projects.

About the role:

As our Marketing Communications Coordinator, joining our team based in Keswick, you will support the national Marketing Communications function through the coordination, creation and distribution of marketing and communication materials that promote the BADGE Group brands.

Working closely with the Marketing Communications Manager and internal stakeholders across the business, you will assist with the development of internal and external communications, digital content, marketing collateral and brand-aligned messaging.

This is a creative role with exposure across all aspects of marketing, providing an excellent opportunity to build experience while contributing to a purposeful and impactful marketing strategy with national reach.

In this role you will:

  • Gain hands-on experience across a wide range of marketing and communications activities
  • Support a small portfolio of brands with unique and meaningful proposition.
  • Help implement a purposeful and impactful marketing strategy with national reach

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, create and publish marketing communications across internal and external platforms including intranet, website and social media channels.
  • Assist with the preparation of marketing collateral and content that communicates the BADGE Group story and supports business initiatives.
  • Support the creation of digital and print marketing materials including campaign content, project stories, award submissions and internal communications.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business to understand objectives and develop communications that inform, persuade and engage.
  • Apply graphic design and content development skills to produce high quality marketing materials using Adobe Creative Suite and digital platforms.
  • Assist with the management and evolution of brand guidelines and support teams across the business in their correct application.
  • Support the coordination of award submissions and other brand-building initiatives.

About you:

To be successful in this position you will have a strong interest in marketing communications and brand development and enjoy working collaboratively across a diverse national business.

You will be a strong communicator with a creative mindset and excellent attention to detail, capable of producing clear, engaging and visually appealing marketing content.

You will also demonstrate:

  • Understanding of core marketing principles and brand development across digital and traditional platforms
  • Well-developed skills in persuasive writing, audience identification, proof-reading and editing
  • Strong graphic design capability and attention to detail in visual communication
  • Experience in digital content management and the ability to work collaboratively using content planning tools
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work autonomously
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, WordPress, SharePoint and the Microsoft Office suite

Desirable:

  • A tertiary qualification in marketing, graphic design or a related discipline
  • Knowledge or interest in the construction industry and the ability to translate technical information into accessible marketing content
