The Opportunity:
We are looking to grow our Casual pool of Events staff across Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide!
As a Casual Events & Activations Crew Member, you’ll be part of the on-the-ground team bringing live sport and brand experiences to life across Wildcard’s client portfolio – perfect if you’re studying or early in your career and want flexible, event-based work. You’ll help make sure each activation runs smoothly, safely and to schedule, so our clients and their fans have an outstanding experience every time.
You’ll
- Support the delivery of on-site event activations, including timely set-up, operation and pack-down.
- Work with the TGI Wildcard Project Manager to coordinate event logistics such as site layout, staffing, equipment placement, run sheets and guest lists.
- Occasionally act as the primary on-site contact for clients, suppliers, contractors and promo staff.
- Help ensure all events comply with safety and operational standards and troubleshoot on-site issues as they arise.
- Monitor how activations are performing on the day and share feedback for continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate records including incident reports, attendance logs and equipment registers.
- Represent TGI Sport professionally, bringing a friendly, energetic presence as a go-to contact for the public at our events.
What we’re looking for
- Some experience in events, activations, hospitality, retail or other customer-facing work is great, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with colleagues, clients and the public.
- Comfortable working in small teams, coordinating with multiple stakeholders and stepping up to work independently in fast-paced environments.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to safe work practices and WHS compliance.
- Proactive and reliable – you take initiative, ask questions, and follow through on what you say you’ll do.
- Confident using basic Microsoft Office tools and general digital systems.
- Any events or amusement sector experience and a current First Aid certificate are a bonus, and a valid driver’s licence is preferred.
