About the role:
We are seeking a General Hand to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support the smooth operation of our business. This role is suitable for someone who is physically fit, has a can-do attitude and can work independently.
The role is for approximately 25 hours per week, with the potential to move to full-time.
What you’ll be doing:
- Operating forklift for loading and unloading sheet piles, machinery, and other products
- General labouring tasks – handling, storing, distribution
- Picking and packing orders
- Operating oxy-fuel and plasma cutting equipment
- Operate machinery and equipment
- Perform general maintenance and cleaning tasks
- Maintain inventory and associated paperwork
What you’ll need:
- Drivers license
- Forklift (LF) license
- Experience operating 12tonne forklift is desirable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
- Willingness to work flexible hours as required
